Prince Spaghetti: From 1969 Boston to 2011 London

  

For the launch of my SpagWednesday series of London pop-ups I shot a video homage to the classic American commercial for Prince Spaghetti. The original spot was filmed in 1969 in Boston’s North End and ran nationally in the US for 13 years. Above you can view them side-by-side.

Our notion of “Prince” may be different but the overall message is the same in 2011 London as it was in 1969 Boston: Wednesday is spaghetti day.
