Hi Dan. In one old Laurel and Hardy sound short from the early ’30s, the boys make a “spaghetti dinner” for a bad guy out of a mop, red paint for sauce, grated soap for cheese — and then are forced to eat it themselves. Can’t recall title.

Jeff – Don’t know it. I’ll try to dig it up.

Jeff – I found the Laurel & Hardy spaghetti clip. It’s from Saps at Sea and is now in its rightful place on the top 5 list.

What about in goodfellas when the bosses are in jail slicing garlic with razor blades for the sauce etc. Also the final scene of the movie has a great bit about trying to find good marinara.

Rory – Good suggestions. I will investigate. Truth is I thought about a third spaghetti appearance in Goodfellas but couldn’t find it on youtube.

Dino – Great suggestions. Brings us very close to 10. There is a great spaghetti shop in Bicycle Thief but I can’t find it on youtube.

Any top 7 has to include the dinner scene from Saturday Night Fever.
